Why have you come to see us?

Together we will sit down and get a clear understating of the main health complaint that has brought you in. As we go along in the consult, some questions may seem unnecessary, however the body is a complex system with many signs and symptoms giving us clues as to what might be going on.

Detailed health history

We will discuss in detail your diet, health and lifestyle history, going back to childhood. We will analyse your most recent dietary intake to see where making food changes may help your symptoms. If possible, it can help to have a chat with a close family member before your appointment to get an understanding of any health conditions that may run in the family, such as autoimmune conditions, cancer, allergies, even the age your mother or grandmother went through menopause.

Getting clear on goals

You may have a clear picture of what you want help with or it may be a few different things, here we will prioritise what you want to focus on first. Timelines will be set to get an understating of when you can expect to see improvements which varies a lot, for example, it takes 100 days (or 3 months) for an ovarian follicle to develop and mature, this means any work we do to support ovulation or ovarian function may take 3 months before improvement is seen.

Any supplements we think are necessary will be discussed here. The treatment plan, along with any additional resources will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your consult.
