About Blossoming Health Nutrition
What Does a Clinical Nutritionist Actually Do?
This is a question I am asked a lot! As a degree-qualified Clinical Nutritionist, I utilise detailed holistic questioning to understand your health and lifestyle history, dietary analysis, stress levels, blood tests and functional testing to really understand your health to uncover the root cause(s) of your symptoms.
I take a food first approach to your personalised treatment plan, along with lifestyle recommendations and practitioner-grade supplements (if necessary) - all designed to be simple for you to fit into your life and get you feeling back to full health again.
I created Blossoming Health Nutrition after seeing so many women and mothers struggle through their everyday lives with low energy, unpredictable menstrual cycles, bloating, high levels of stress, anxiety and fluctuating mood.
The mental load for mums these days is often so demanding, with little time for rest. Nutritional depletion, gut issues and exhaustion can creep-up, especially after multiple pregnancies and years of breastfeeding, and may not be felt or realised until years after the postpartum period.
I believe that by understanding our own health needs, rebuilding nutrient stores and setting strong health foundations, mothers can feel healthier, clearer, more resilient and better equipped to handle the ups and downs of parenthood and life in general.
My goal is to make nutrition practical and realistic. Advice should feel simple to follow and easy to weave into daily life - because if a treatment plan doesn’t work for you, it will likely be tossed in the bin!
Whether you would like nutritional support for postpartum healing or nutrient repletion, are struggling with low mood or anxiety, have ongoing gut issues or think you might be starting your perimenopause journey, I take a compassionate and supportive approach to provide you with a dietary, supplement and lifestyle prescription that works for you. About Georgie
When I became a mum for the first time, I was overwhelmed by exhaustion, sleepless nights and the demands of caring for a tiny human, without family support nearby. After my second baby (and end of my marriage), I slowly hit rock bottom. For months I was barely eating, running on broken sleep and struggling to cope.
I realised I had to start looking after myself, not just for me but for these gorgeous little people who relied on me. Through nourishing food, movement, self-care and small daily moments of rest, my energy and outlook massively improved. This experience sparked my passion for helping other women and mothers rebuild their health through the power of nutrition and lifestyle practices. I am excited to take that one step further with my counselling qualification.

Dr Oscar Serrallach (from The Postnatal Depletion Cure), explains the health journey of motherhood best:
“Postnatal depletion doesn’t just affect new mothers-it affects all mothers. If a new mum isn’t allowed to fully recover from the demanding requirements of pregnancy and birth, the aftereffects can last for years…take into account the stress and sleeplessness associated with raising tweens and teenagers, coupled with the hormonal effects of perimenopause and menopause, it can become a pretty grim journey if mothers aren’t truly supported and allowed to recover”.
